This painting is about the Gopis dancing with joy at the appearance of their beloved “Krishna”- a scene from Gopigeet, a part of the Hindu religious book “Bhagavatham”. The translation of the Verse in Sanskrit is given below: “O our hero, Fill us with your enchanting music which drop like ambrosia from the flute kissed by your lips and the pitch, which heightens our spiritual ecstasy, dispel our sorrows and make us oblivious to every other allurement. The love that demands nothing but one ness; the Joy and Smile that reflects the state of oneness is immortal; your is an attempt to revive the Indian Concepts and Expressions through variou Mediums that needs more projection at the world level. The entire realm of Miniature Art should once again be known to the art gallaries in the world. They are all Masterpieces.
