Thank you for your submission. This art work is very contemplative and yet the rhythm is circular and keeps the viewer’s eye moving around inside the art work. I congratulate you on this sensitive art work and on your skills in working with Linocut. I look forward to seeing more of your art work.
Confident and inventive are terms evident in your linocut and your originality comes through in each piece. It is evident that you are pushing barriers in you technique and composition revealing an inventive imagination. The work gives one a sense of self enlightenment as though the vortex in the composition is reflecting an inner outer expression intuitively composing an inner imagining or thought on your linocut.
Interesting distortion of perspective. The lines, curves and colours really take the eye on a journey. The more organic shapes within the figure are very emotive and conjure up a feeling of excitement, and almost panic – That’s probably from what the room’s doing around him…
