  1. Thank you for your submission. I value your creative process and your intention. The bands of yellow, pink and red are what unite this painting. The left side is a complete painting. The right side is a complete painting. If there were a larger scale object or two on the right it may serve to balance the two sides. Again I honor your process and if you are happy with your painting and don’t get an “aha” moment from my comment, please disregard this. We all need to create in our own way! I look forward to seeing more of your art work.

  2. The field of colors and transitions there of are beautiful and help to balance the composition. The abstractions are intriguing and pose an interesting compatible backdrop or path way to the figures but I find myself continually drawn to the left side of the canvas which gives an overall impression of two works. Shifting the figures to the right would balance the composition but perhaps your intent was to create an upset in the balance using the figures hand as the primary effect in tying the work together. It is a beautiful work and I applaud you for pushing beyond the norm in the composition.

  3. A warm, relaxing piece, both in colour and composition. A really nice blend and occasional contrast of colours. The various details throughout the picture create interest and tell small stories. A very nice piece.
