  1. This is an interesting composotion with well executed transitions in color that lead one into the canvas. The transition from ochre to red violet and reds contrasted by a splatter of vibrant green create a focal point around which the viewer can partake in a journey around the artist’s concept. I start to loose a little interest at the top of the piece where the trees meld into the sky.

  2. Well expressive idea with eye catching composition and carefully, selected colors to create a nice contrast as emphasis of the three elements we have and see. Blending the trees in the sky has not supported the idea. Keep your creativity alive.

  3. I read this painting as beneath the earth, land, sky and then an action of beginning to cover these elements with a slowly moving white fog dripping onto the surfaces below. Considering our theme this month; “thought as an abstract expression” I may interpret the white fog dripping as a collective abstracted thought. I like the composition. It is technically well executed. Thank you for your submission!

  4. There’s space in the setting due to slightly curved colour zones & their shades within. The green that might be the light glow from a small town gives a relative scale. All this gives a symbolist enough atmosphere for this countryside view at dusk. It seems to have been not satisfying to you as you understook to erase it from the top whitening the canvas again.
Quick, let’s enjoy this evening stillness before the dripping makes it disappear! Is it a premise for ever renewed creation?
