  1. Splash of colours! Highly selective; in moments the blurred reality of domesticity takes us to the reality of blissful living with whom we have identified. Really a good balanced work . Modernism symbolizing the perspective familiar but many times ignored.

  2. Everything comes together in this piece. It is intricate yet loose. It flows with harmonious colors combining the element of drawing, definition of light and dark with the colors acting as the catalyst that brings it all together into a remarkable work. Well done and beautiful.

  3. Thank you for your submission. I notice that your size is 36 x 36 inches. This should mean that your submission is in a square format. I’m not sure which is correct. The size of the image or the rectangular image. I will comment for you on the presented rectangular image, okay. The overall effect of the colors and the detail of each the object is very pleasing. There is a lead into the art work at the bottom of the work where objects appear to be set upon a base. Then the work evolves into a spacially floating montage of symbolic images. We have at least two choices when we begin to create. Very basically to uplift the viewer or to confront the viewer. (For various reasons!) If we seek to uplift the viewer then the choices about the composition will include balance that is in three parts, rhythm that directs the viewers eye, colors and tone that create the impact we wish to convey. If we want to confront the viewer for such reasons as bringing about change in society, then the opposite compositional factors come into play. For the most part, I create without premeditation and the images do not need to be pre meditated. In your composition, I see an upliftng composition that could be made into many paintings if divided into pieces. Especially, the green area with the face on the left. This is because the face is larger in scale than the other images in the paintings and so it becomes most important to the viewer. Cropping this green area would be one complete painting. As it is my eye is drawn over to this area and is distracted from viewing the rest of the painting. I honor your creative process and if this is your intention then I accept this completely. Otherwise, I hope that my comments may be of use. Always go with what feels like a “yes that makes sense” feeling otherwise comments are not helpful. I look forward to seeing more of your art work!

  4. Vibrant, energising and intriguing art. A wonderful use of colour and technique. Many stories are told……….. art, literature, religion, flora, fauna. The ever increasing arrows with varying direction and intensity lead the viewers eye on a journey, conveying the feeling of movement and chaos, which is intensified by the use of pink and red. Excellent.
