This sculpture I present to you is based mostly in Symbols, which all of them together define “Love” for me. In the shape of the heart, which means “Love” and “Life”, two female figures make their presence, one pregnant and one that just gave birth, on the one side. On the other side the symbol of “Infinity” is formed. Inside it’s circles are the eyes of the “Soul” and two hands holding the words “Love, Health, Wealth”, the three most important things in life that give the people happiness.

In the smaller side of the sculpture appears the belly of a woman and her genitals, on the other side an Owl, the bird of wisdom which is important to exist if we want to bring happiness in our lives. Finally the base is in the shape of “Omega” which symbolizes many things, one of these is the womb.

  1. Marvellous. Highly appreciate your series of Sculptures; your understanding of the basic but wildest concept of Love depicted as Mother Feminine; the root of all existence..
    Excellent.

  2. This moving expression in clay depiction of love surrenders the viewer’s thoughts to the form, light, movement and concept of the artist’s intent. An excellent choice of medium for this piece as life begins from the earth the use of clay is most appropriate symbol of this beginning. The unfortunate aspect of viewing a sculpture through images is not being able to see the piece as a whole three dimensional presentation. I would suggest that you become very mindful of the background when you display your sculptures in a two dimensional venue. Sometimes the surroundings can distract from the beauty of your work. I look forward to seeing more of your work

  3. Thank you Panteleimon for your submission. I really appreciate the thought and skill that you brought into this amazing sculpture. The symbols you have used are a true representation of Love! Magnificent! I look forward to viewing more of your creations in the future!
