  1. The diffused background juxtaposed by the clarity of the man falling sets up an interesting curious wonderment of the artist’s intent. Even without the artist’s explanation of the concept the viewer senses the work is an accumulative collection of thoughts. I am drawn to the partial face in the bottom right corner and find a tension between it and the central figure that disrupts the balance of the piece. Diminishing the prominence of the appliance and giving the face of the new man on the scene would enhance the flow of the work. Still, an interesting, technically well executed piece.

  2. Susie, your piece of art has got my attention even though did not exactly, expressed the feeling of love but literally you chose to have the man upside down to express the word” Falling”. When I look at it, he can be falling from a high building not necessarily falling in love. Having said that, I still like it for the fact that the composition, perspective, contrast along with the white space you left are strong elements in the painting. Thank you for joining and keep up the good work that has endless room for improvement.

  3. I enjoy the surrealism of the many viewpoints in your work of art! Also I appreciate the skills and techniques you have used to create “Falling” which demonstrates one of the many “stages” of Love! Thank you for your submission, Susie.
