Boy with puppy by Kevin Geary
This was a portrait commission for a client in Connecticut. This portrait coveys the theme “Love” just about as well as anything else I have ever done. She’s delighted with it and the reaction to it has been amazingly positive. For over 35 years I did portrait commissions and my work’s in the National Portrait Gallery in London. For over five years I stopped doing them entirely, but in the last two years I’ve had accepted five commissions.
