This is a beautiful portrayal of the bliss of pregnancy. The facial expression is wonderful. The choice of colors enhances the mood of the piece. From the aspect of composition I would like to have seen a little more sand below her feet and the line formed where the foaming water meets the sand could be off center canvas and could be arced to compliment the curves of the figure. The bouquet of flowers is a little dominant but overall it is a well executed work as it defines the theme and projects a calming atmosphere of love and happiness.
