True Love by Stephen Kaldor

My eight year old granddaughter Orla, had a severe sore throat and stayed home from school and we babysat both her and Pepper the family dog. I don’t know about antibiotics but “dogiotherapy” works. Love comes in many shapes and forms but there is no truer love than of a little girl and her dog.

  1. Thanks so much for this submission, Steven! You have captured the “feel good” love and it really jumps out and grabs me! I admire your strong composition and in particular your bold use of light! I hope to see you more of your art works!

  2. Your technique is masterfully yet I find the emphasized detail of the couch in front of the figure distracts me from fully realizing the harmony between the little girl and the dog. I also find your choice of color for the blanket some what sets up a contrast that diminished the impact of the figure and dog. I look forward to seeing your work.
