Birth of Venus by Nazmul Ahsan
A painting has to become what it wants to be. When I make a painting I allow the colors to drip, swirl and begin to take form, usually from there I decide what direction the painting will go. I am intrigued how the drips, colors and hues interact and develop a relationship with the objects of the painting. The end result becomes an enchanted world. My purpose is to invite everyone into this world.

Let the colour drip and swirl and then take form is the typical dripping art process.
At the origin, it was used by the American Action Painting. This tecnique drew on the so-called surrealist automatic writing, then was employed by the informal painting of all European artistic movements.
What Nazmul Ahsan write about creating is just this process and “enchanted world” is the exact definiction for this kind of works, where any of us can finding, seeing and feeling a lot of different attractions.
Love this world!
