Coney Island sand by Mario Sostre
On one if my trips to Coney Island I was attracted toe the patterns in the sand,so I took a hand full of sand and created these three panels at home.

This creative abstract gives us the impressions of movement, texture and subtle changes in color that create a meditative environment releasing our imagination to take in its macro simplicity, yet on a micro level it reflects all the complexity of nature. The random particles and sizes there of reflect an application of the sand that is void of any mechanical effect making the work look truly natural. Well done.
