Elements by Ferdinand art
I captured this hanging lamp with my camera on a cold winter evening in a Sushi restaurant in Copenhagen. Sitting almost directly beneath it, I could feel the heat emanating from it, the brightness bringing some light into the dark interior of the restaurant. In my mind I immediately saw the relationship between the four classic Greek elements (Air, Fire, Water and Earth) and what the lamp at that specific moment meant to me. Working on the image, changing it from a ‘normal’ color photo to this piece of art, I played with the colors and I believe I was able to portray all four these elements in my enhanced work. This is an original, created by me, printed on high quality canvas and is available for sale.

I believe this is a very interesting work, from a graphic and conceptual point of view.
Ferdinand light handling skills, let the eye of the beholder brush the different surfaces of the photo object/subject and the colour red, placed in the black and white balance is a real goal.
Also interesting is the description about the birth of this work idea, the proof that Art is everywhere and only awaits to be discovered by our eyes, because Art, like Beauty, is in the eyes of the beholder.
