Maude’s Hat 1 by sussie Krieser
This painting speaks to the juxtaposition of the elements of simplified shapes versus strong textures. By using one to enhance the other, it lends both accessible and dramatic elements to the piece. This is an original painting, which is for sale.

At first impression this painting is a pop art work, but looking at it paying more attention, we discover that it has got any peculiarities: Sussie Krieser describes two little tufts of hair in a naturalistic way and let them out from the colour black’s solid shape of the hair, just as the grey break from the dark rose mass’ shadow on the neck. All these details breathe life into an anonymous face: a common face in which anyone can identify with it and the painting results as a Polaroid photo frame.
