Linolschnitte werden künstlerisch stark unterschätzt und gelten als wertlose Technik … dagegen spricht, dass exakte Schnitte und strenge Einhaltung der Maßgenauigkeit erst einen wirklich guten Linoldruck ermöglichen … Picasso und Matisse gelten als die prominentesten Vertreter dieser Technik … mit solchen “Schutzpatronen” bin ich in sehr guter Gesellschaft …. … bei meinen Exponaten handelt es sich um Originale … ein Verkauf ist bis heute noch nicht überlegt worden, weil das Inter esse innerhalb meiner privaten Kreise aus-reichend groß ist … besondere Einzel-fälle würde ich jedoch berücksichtigen … ich kann daher meinen persönlichen Stil durchziehen bzw. beibehalten … in my English: Linocuts are underestimated artistically and are considered a worthless technique … speaks against this that exact cuts and strict compliance with the dimensional accuracy allow only a really good linocut … Picasso and Matisse are considered the most prominent representatives of this technology … with such a “patron” I’m in very good company …. … at my exhibits are originals … a sale was not considered until today because the Internet eat within my private circle sufficiently large … special individual cases, however, I would consider … therefore, I can pull to keep my personal style or … Servus from Austria!

A linocut triptych, a difficult undertaking. The trio work well together creating an interesting and well balanced composition. Your use of red in the central piece adds interest and impact to the work. I regret I can not see a larger image of the work. This is something to bear in mind for future exhibitions. I would really like to see a larger image to fully appreciate your creativity and skill.
Edgar, from what I can see in your much to small jpeg submission seems interesting and could be powerful. I wish I could see more detail. Du hast ja viel ueber deine Kunst zu sagen, ich wuerde gerne sehen was Du im detail kreierst.
I have regrets for not being able to see it larger ( it’s a large dimension work !). A joyful work, probably very well executed as far I can judge.
I love its strong colours & contrast. The composition is good & balanced managing a breakthrough in the central panel. I guess a close friend came knocking on your door then..Give me hand..Wouldn’t it be Marc Chagall?

Rather than espouse the virtues of linocut technique in defense of your medium choice Edgar, a larger image format of the work would have better served your purpose. It seems to be a very interesting theme but I cannot give it due appraisal in its current tiny format. A real pity.
Edgar, Sie haben keinen Grund so stark Ihrer Wahl des Mediums zu Verteidigen. Die technischen und künstlerischen Tugenden Linolschnitt als Technik und expressives Medium ist klar. Am liebsten wäre ich in der Lage gewesen, die Arbeit auf richtige Verdienst zu bewerten, aber es ist leider nicht mit einem so kleinen Bild möglich. Tut mir leid. Es scheint ein sehr interessantes werk zu sein.
