  1. Blue Moon – once called the “Betrayer Moon” could be construed as a crisis since it’s appearance was used to shorten Lent. It would be interesting to have a few words from the artist as to what inspired this work. The piece is interesting and the pale hues beset by intriguing designs find the viewer’s attention. The technique is skilled and the subtle variations within the pale yellow and blue fields present a shadowed effect that add to the overall appeal of the piece.

  2. This is an interesting mixed media! Thanks for your submission. I really enjoy the texture of the mixed media in this art work and find my eye drawn towards the upper right hand corner where there appears to be a small archway and a possible (upside down L) doorway beside it. I wonder where this may lead and it offers the viewer a real point of interest. At first I viewed this art work as micro; something under a microscope! Then easily it transformed into macro a “bird’s eye view” of two moons and matter floating! Well done!

  3. A beautiful abstraction of yearning and desire to the point of interior flux and suspiscion. Somehow reminiscent of Keeper of the Keys; of Eros minion of Aphrodite. agile and twofold, keeper of the keys of heaven and earth, the air, and spreading seas; of all that earth’s fertile realms contains, by which the all parent Goddess life sustains, or dismal Tartaros is doomed to keep, widely extended, or the sounding deep; for thee all nature’s various realms obey, who rulest alone, with universal sway. Come, blessed power, regard these mystic fires, and far avert unlawful mad desires.” from an Orphic hymn; 3rd century AD. Love & Desire, that existential vanishing point of Being. A gorgeous play of colour and ritual.

I am really taken by this piece, drawn in to wonder around with glee. It is perfection for me with you use of very few colors and wonderful bronze or copper 2D pieces. Love this piece of art.
