90 stacked images, directed at the North stare Polaris, and the Northern Lights accenting the foreground.

A Y Jackson, one of my favorites of the Group of seven. I was fortunate to have been able to see him at the McMichael Collection before he passed. The star trails are fascinating giving the image a defined movement around the North Star. The diagonal slice cutting through the rotation enhances the composition and the glow in the sky is a complimentary contrast giving the fore ground the strength to balance the movement in the sky. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
Thank you for your submission. I appreciate your skill and vision in creating this photograph. On it’s own before the 90 stacked images this would be an excellent landscape of “A.Y.Jackson” country and the Northern Lights and stars. With the addition of the streaming circles and angle of the line, this architecture aspect elevates the photograph to an authentic contemporary work of art!
The circular movement of stars around the Pole Star has always fascinated & still does; A classic from astronomical photography..I’m more interested by the mysterious red “dawn” appearing over the landscape & casting long shadows. A nice composition placing high the subject & taking advantage of the oblique light shaping the ground relief to bring depth sensation. I’m intrigued by the orange ray stripping the sky & bearing beads at regular distance; This unatural element pulls me out of the documentary attraction.
