Well put Antonio. Much of our architecture is lacking the genius of Leonardo as primary parameters are based on cost. Unfortunately too often the concept that people are attracted to beauty is lost in many structures. However there is beauty in your image, in its composition, use of color and expertise in technique. The simplicity and contrasts are effective and the multidirectional placement of the veneers create abstractions within the image that enhance it’s light variations and rhythm.
Antonino, my first sense of this art work is tenderness. Then I find myself enjoying the many viewpoints and gentle movement within the art work. This architectural composition has within it emotion and sensitivity. I appreciate your skill in working with this media. It is good to see your art work today and I look forward to seeing more! Thank you for your submission.
The architectural matter offers here a good pretext for abstraction although less relevant for “emotion” theme.
I particularly enjoy this interesting shimmering light effect provoked by the numerous joint up pieces within a same field which perturbates perception; If always the case in your works, large abstract plans make it more obvious. That’s the way you deal with light. Nonetheless I miss more of strong dark values to bring up contrast & mostly depth to this mineral cityscape. I suppose the shot do not renders full justice to it due to reflection.

Scusa Didier, non ho partecipato al tema “Emozioni” ma su Leonardo Da Vinci, forse sono stato poco chiaro. Ho voluto fare un parallellismo fra l’architettura di Leonardo e quella di oggi, andando in giro per la città e guardando i profili dei grattacieli di oggi ho pensato di realizzare questo lavoro per evidenziare il Genio Architettonico di Leonardo e mostrando la fredezza dell’architettura di oggi.
