“The Pure of Heart”, an uplifting spiritual concept expressed so well with a happy assemblage of colors washed in a spiritual light from above. The painting flows with a interesting positioning of faces and expressions further impacted by the up reaching hands into the glow above. I realize the borders on right and left have a cultural significance and are not just an embellishment and they do provide an impetus to a serene effect at the top of the piece.
The composition is evocative for a parchment roll whose ends scrolled up.Here are inscribed, figured the Happy Ones with no exception of race, age or gender, with no stiffness for attitudes or colour display but natural balance. Same for the drawing delineated in various colours. All this & the bright colour harmony conveys joy.
