Local times from 10-30am to until 6-00pm. YOUR LOCAL TIME. We all will be meditating on different times during that day, but we will create a ‘meditation wave link’ where one time zone overlaps for the next to complete our 24 hours of meditation across the Globe!

Now select a suitable local time that you can join us and together as one global family we can make the difference..,

What’s next? …,

For this to make maximum  impact we each have to complete our own individual program for minimum of 20 – 30 minutes seating quietly on a comfortable chair, a place where you will not be disturbed.

Now let’s begin our practise..,

Globalization icas 2012logoHow

For members who find it difficult to concentrate or settle the MIND to use:

  • Option 1 – visualization technique of closing the eye imagine you are at a place were there is  water flowing over waterfall or looking at the waves at the  seaside and enjoy the movement and sound of water connecting to your breathe, gradually direct your mind to listen to the sound of your breathe as you inhale than exhale, feeling more relax both the body followed by the mind.

  • Option 2 –  the breathing technique to following the instruction: Sit comfortably and close your eyes. Take a few moments to “simply be”. Notice whatever is being experienced in the moment — sounds, physical sensations, thoughts, feelings — without trying to do anything about it.

  • Continue like this for a  while, allowing yourself to settle down.

Notice the changes of the weather pattern around, any settle sensation you feel is different, now bring the attention back to the breath. Simply observe the breath as it moves in and out as the body inhales and exhales. Notice how the breath moves in and out automatically, effortlessly. Don’t try to manipulate or force it in any way. Notice all the details of the experience of breathing — the sensing of the air moving in and out of the nose, the way the body moves as it breathes.

The mind will wander away from the breath — that’s fine, it doesn’t matter. That’s a part of the meditation! When you notice that you are no longer observing the breath, is the time to bring your attention back with minimum effort.

Let all of your experiences — thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations — come and go in the background of your awareness of the breath. Notice how all of your experiences — thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, awareness of sounds and smells — come automatically and effortlessly like the breath, is the way to continue our practice sitting comfortably enjoying this moment.

As soon as you settle down with your breath technique feeling calm and peaceful to gradually move effortlessly toward introducing a deeper visualization technique of seeing light flowing around the body – the colour of light being Blue moving up and down from the head to your toe as you breath in and out slowly begin to see the colour change to a warm golden-yellow glowing around the body and when you are ready start to project this lovely glow moving further away bringing family, friends and people you would like to share this experience .., all this should be done without any effort just relax and enjoy the experiences..

Dalai Lama

Mentally. physically and emotionally we are the same.  We each have the potential to good and bad and to be overcome by disturbing emotions such as anger, fear, hatred, suspicion and greed. These emotions can be the cause of many problems.  On the other hand if you cultivate loving kindness, compassion and concern for others, there will be no room for anger, hatred and jealousy.

“In Prayer we ask a question..,

In Meditation we receive the answer..,”

“Enjoy your life and be happy.
Being happy is of the utmost importance.
Success in anything is through happiness.
More support of nature comes from being happy.
Under all circumstances be happy, even if you have to force it a bit to change some long standing habits.
Just think of any negativity that comes to you as a raindrop falling into the ocean of your bliss.
You may not always have an ocean of bliss, but think that way anyway and it will help it come.
Doubting is not blissful and does not create happiness.
Be happy, healthy, and let all that love flow through your heart.”

Visual ArtistMeditating is so powerful I think it is interesting that as a word it is so close to mediating. If you understand mind and body as a whole then action and thought are indivisible. I will join you on the 26th. Thank you for setting this up Sunil.

  • Thank you dear Sunil! Peace!

  • Thank you for having invited me. I’m there in my thoughts!

It’s a great experience to concentrate in meditation and send light and love. As time pass I realize that I’m not aware of it while I feel a kind of invitation to stay in that mood that gives me so much calm and happiness

Sunil – [ …. we begin to appreciate having all our body working well as you get ready to celebrate your 60. I know you are a regular mediator therefore a practice to complete your program to add visualization light by activating all the seven chakras feeling the sensation of each color from the base to the top of your head being the seventh chakra & color. Using this practise will execrate your healing process in your body as you energize each growing cell of your body with positive energy. Happy meditation. ] … When I turned 60 on August 3rd I had no Idea that within two weeks I would have heart surgery for a large blockage and a stent put in. Now my heart flow is normal, but I have come to expect the unexpected. Interesting that you would mention the seven chakras. I work with a massage therapists that specializes in chakra therapy. I go in once a month to have my chakras aligned. I meditate in two different ways. One is standing with my eyes open, usually contemplating an unfinished project. The other is sitting in a chair with my eyes closed; many of my friends that practice (Transcendental Meditation) meditate this way, as opposed to sitting on the floor in the traditional Buddhist position. My morning meditation takes about 20 minutes. I feel rejuvenated and healed without the use of medication of any kind. The pain pills are currently a necessary evil. I have already started cutting back, a transgression to my surgeons orders. My brain being insensate is simply not acceptable, that is where my morning meditation becomes an indispensability to (execrate my healing). Thank you once again Sunil for you concern and outpouring of love.
