What’s next? …,
For this to make maximum impact we each have to complete our own individual program for minimum of 20 – 30 minutes seating quietly on a comfortable chair, a place where you will not be disturbed.
Now let’s begin our practice..,
How
OPTIONS
For members who find it difficult to concentrate or settle the MIND to use:
Option 1 – Visualization Technique of closing our eye imagine you are at a place where there is water flowing over waterfall or looking at the waves at the seaside and enjoy the movement, sound of water and smell the freshness of the air connecting to your breath, gradually direct your mind to listen to the sound of your breath as you inhale then exhale, feeling more relax both the body followed by the mind.
Option 2 – The breathing Technique : Sitting comfortably and close your eyes. Take a few moments to “simply be”. Notice whatever is being experienced in the moment — sounds, physical sensations, thoughts, feelings — without trying to do anything about it.
Continue like this for a while, allowing yourself to settle down.
Notice the changes of the weather pattern around, any settle sensation you feel is different, now bring the attention back to the breath. Simply observe the breath as it moves in and out as the body inhales and exhales. Notice how the breath moves in and out automatically, effortlessly. Don’t try to manipulate or force it in any way. Notice all the details of the experience of breathing — the sensing of the air moving in and out of the nose, the way the body moves as you breath.
The mind will wander away from the breath — that’s fine, it doesn’t matter. That’s a part of the meditation! When you notice that you are no longer observing the breath, is the time to bring your attention back with minimum effort.
Let all of your experiences — thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations — come and go in the background of your awareness of the breath. Notice how all of your experiences — thoughts, emotions, bodily sensations, awareness of sounds and smells — come automatically and effortlessly like the breath, is the way to continue our practice sitting comfortably enjoying this moment of stillness and emptying of our minds.
As soon as you settle down with our breath technique feeling calm and peaceful to gradually move effortlessly toward introducing a deeper visualization technique of seeing light flowing from the top of the head around our heart slowly guiding – the colour of light being Blue around lower body down to your toe. As you breath in and out, gradually drawing our attention to see the colour change to a warm golden-yellow healing light all around the body and when you are ready to start to project this lovely glow to move further away bringing into your mind members of the family, friends or any person, you would like to share your experience with .., all this should be done without any effort just relax and enjoy the whole experience.. You will notice that the time will go very quickly, 20 – 30 minutes will seem short as it will be soon time to come out of your meditation session, now Breath in LOVE .., Breath out JOY.., Smile from your heart and continue sharing your warm healing energy with all that come to your MIND.
Congratulation you have just completed your experience as a mediator now join us each month.., HAPPY MEDITATION.
Mantra for each month
PEACE HARMONY LOVE COMPASSION
Dalai Lama
Mentally. physically and emotionally we are the same. We each have the potential to good and bad and to be overcome by disturbing emotions such as anger, fear, hatred, suspicion and greed. These emotions can be the cause of many problems. On the other hand if you cultivate loving kindness, compassion and concern for others, there will be no room for anger, hatred and jealousy.
“In Prayer we ask a question..,
In Meditation we receive the answer..,”
Maharishi Mahesh Yogi founder of the Transcendental Meditation
“Enjoy your life and be happy.
Being happy is of the utmost importance.
Success in anything is through happiness. More support of nature comes from being happy.
Under all circumstances be happy, even if you have to force it a bit to change some long-standing habits.
Just think of any negativity that comes to you as a raindrop falling into the ocean of your bliss.
You may not always have an ocean of bliss, but think that way anyway and it will help it come.
Doubting is not blissful and does not create happiness.
Be happy, healthy, and let all that love flow through your heart.”

WORLD MEDITATION FOR PEACE AND HEALING –
Our Theme in the creative lounge for 2016 is LOVE and KINDNESS. both qualities we can relate to Mahatma Gandhi LIFE story.
“I offer you peace. I offer you, love. I offer you friendship.
I see your beauty. I hear your need. I feel your feelings.
My wisdom flows from the highest Source. I salute that Source in you.
Let us work together. For unity and peace.” -MAHATMA GANDHI.
Gandhiji’s life story is full of courage, determination, and religious willpower.
His timeless message still holds true to combat injustice and cruelty with the means of love and truth.
His message can be used to solve today’s social, political and ecological problems.
Mahatma Gandhi taught us that we can bring harmony to our world by becoming champions of LOVE and PEACE, he led by example in following the Ten virtues and principles of LIFE that we can incorporate into our daily practices.
Each month we will select one of his Ten virtues and principles of LIFE to our monthly meditation as our theme. This will help us to focus, learn and understand the values to enhance our life’s.
“A MAN IS BUT A PRODUCT OF HIS THOUGHTS, WHAT HE THINKS HE BECOMES” GANDHIJI’s 9th STEP OF HAPPINESS
BREATHE IN PEACE AND BREATHE OUT HARMONY.., This is a wonderful opportunity for the month of October till November to observe our Wellbeing by creating PEACE & HARMONY in our LIFE…, Let’s use our time here in our Creative Lounge to raise our tolerance levels, be positive in our thoughts and become more caring towards our Global Family.
Our physical and mental aspects are integrated and do affect each other. So much so that every negative thought counts as stress and indirectly plays a role in your actions. To counter this we should raise our tolerance levels so that small mishaps don’t bother us and eliminate any room for perceptions as they strongly influence our near future and actions.
Firstly it is important for us to draw the line between positive and negative. Let’s say for instance you have butter fingers and can’t get a hold of things. While you might get irritated every time you drop something, somebody else might deal with it differently by just picking it up and continue what he/she was doing. It’s just a matter of being able to block our mind from being negative about minor bumps and raise our tolerance to a level, therefore, avoiding negative thoughts from entering the mind. This will help us to have a positive approach to Life. Another way negative thoughts enter the system is through preconceived notions and perceptions. These play in especially when you’re in a situation that previously didn’t go well. This automatically creates a negative perception going through our daily activities, which in turn affects most of the actions that follow.
Major studies and research in the last fifteen years by University around the World has shown with regular practices of meditation technique we can make a big difference and change the behavior patterns, simply by relaxing and healing our minds. We breath in, we breath out, being in the state of present moments and continue to direct our Mind towards deep relaxation this than creates more Happiness.
Happy OCTOBER Meditation
Breathe in PEACE …, Breathe out HARMONY
We hope you will all contribute to our discussion giving an account of your own experiences, share any stories with our global family, how you participated and completed the task of Gandhiji’s 8th Steps of Happiness.
We open the platform for your views and comments to contribute towards our topic of the month.
When we have negative thoughts which enter our mind, think of what Gandhiji once famously said:“A man is but the product of his thoughts. What he thinks, he becomes.” So stay positive and all your troubles will feel much smaller.
Then there is the level of stress that we cope with each day never take on unnecessary undue stress. Gandhiji stayed calm and relaxed at all times, using every opportunity of quieting his mind, meditating to relieve tension. Sometimes even between critical meetings with world leaders, he would take a break and find children who surrounded him and spent the time to play with them and in his way connect to their level.
The secret to happiness is derived from the realization that no one but you can control the way you feel. So don’t blame others for your negative moods and thoughts. If you want to stay positive, you will find a way to remain within this state of mind which you control.
WE hope you’ll discover for yourselves Gandhiji 9th Step of Happiness and join our global family on Sunday 30th October 2016. To further experience the power of meditation and complete the auspicious period by participating in our 39th World Meditation Day.
We value your comments and feedback, kindly share with our global family.
Gandhiji communicates with great simplicity the potential that we all have the power to make changes.
“If we want to see greater awareness in the world, we have to cultivate awareness. If we want to see greater harmony and less strife we need to learn how to control our emotions and learn to respond to frustrations with more patience and kindness than we do at present”.
Meditation helps us to recognize negative emotional patterns and to develop the mental freedom to choose more positive responses. The process of quieting the mind helps to develop more loving kindness with more compassionate responses.
HAPPY DIWALI TO YOU ALL, MAY EACH SPARK OF LIGHT BRING YOU MORE SMILES, JOY & HAPPINESS
Season of Lights
Dunes of vapours from crackers rise,
Engulf, as odorous airs resound
Effusing joys to all abound
Pearls of gleams in these autumn nights
Adorn our lives else trite
With sparklers that motley skies
As soaring spirits of powder wander
Let us thank the heavenly might,
In this Festive season of Lights.
