Softly falling in a gentle shower
Each one is so delicate, a treasure to behold
A story of a life that’s untold.
The world moves on, and time flies so fast,
And we try to hold on, but it doesn’t last,
Memories fade, and moments slip away,
Leaving us with nothing but what we have today.
The dreams we had, the plans we made,
Seem so distant, like a long-lost shade,
We hold onto them with all our might,
But sometimes, we have to let go and take flight.
The heartaches and pain, the laughter and love,
All are part of the story that is made of,
The people we meet, the places we go,
All are woven together to create the path.
So, let’s embrace the journey and cherish the ride,
And find beauty in every moment that we decide,
To let go of what was and hold onto what’s true,
And find joy in the story of you and me.
