We are proud to introduce a new prestigious award The PLAUTE PICASSO AWARD. This will be presented to the artist who continues to show high standard of work, develop his / her own style and master of their skills in the chosen medium and technique, look at innovative ways to execute his / her completed art thereby become an inspiration to the future generation or new emerging artists.
It give me great pleasure to confirm our first awards for excellence to present to both PETER FILZMAIER for his life’s long journey of story telling captured in his work.., the brilliant use of colour in his paintings making his own unique style and brand and to ANTONIO GAMBINO for his skill with colour wooden cut inlays.., always finding ways to perfect the technique for each work completed.., deliver amazing results always winning the hearts of his admirers.., Congratulation to you both!!

Thank you to this month’s panel of jurists – Mona, Laara, Renata, Nectar, Ranjan and Peter for completing an excellent job, we had submission of work from around the globe totalling of 33 entries.
The awards to select the best in each category is beginning to get closer therefore it would useful for every member entering our monthly theme exhibitions to note the following for our future exhibition.
- Only work completed in the last 12 month would be accepted as an entry;
- complete our online application fully answering all the questions, limiting your words but still giving full explanation of your entry;
- provide the best quality image as a good resolution image as the panel of jurors have to mark your work without seeing the original artwork;
- It is very important to have the Title. Dimension. Medium and your reason of why you selected the work to entry our themed exhibition;
OUR NEXT MONTHLY THEMED EXHIBITION FOR AUGUST IS “NEW WORKS” WE REQUEST ALL MEMBERS TO START TO SUBMIT THEIR ENTRY …

What a great way you have stated the theme for this month: Love & two Beatles’ songs. Esp. “imagine”….even before John wrote this I had these thoughts flitting through my mind. What a wonderful world we’d have without war, hate, prejudice, envy, jealousy, mean teasing, name calling, arrogance, killing, guns…….on and on. I dream of a world of peace filled with love for all life & then I read the paper, go on my computer & read the news….I despair, I despair. So I come to this group were filled with creative people, warmth, caring who share smiles, happy hugs and love with each other. Once again I thank you for starting this group.

How can we despair, so? We’re in charge for the reality we wish for, & create everyday.
My point is not to deny objective reality, but I say there’s some good within mankind that only claims for growth; I believe in it & I believe in me. I believe in us. & I believe in you too, Ruth. I say all the negative thing is distraction & waste of time unless we act to modify it.

your actions and affected by your kindness and consideration of others.

PS This month entries we would request entries that are completed within one year. kindly complete our on-line application form providing detailed information necessary to help the jurors complete their task. Download a good size image as clear representation of your original artwork. For 3rd image / sculpture provide three views of the your artwork.

Dawn the main purpose of our online monthly exhibitions is to have your work commented by our panel of jurors made up of international artists. Art editors and art critics. All constructive comments to help each artist progress their skill and technique. Plus our website will give each artists an opportunity to promoting and selling their work over a period.
Hence one of the question requested whether the artwork is available for sell.

A wall
a door on the wall
On the one hand “us”
and by the other “them”The wall? It exists only in our minds
but the ground beneath our feet
is the same on both sides
“Earth”The door?
It is our heart
and the “key” that opens it
is our loveHow much time we have to wait then?
If there wall, is no longer exist
and all us from long time ago
we have a big heart!..is it times to start using the “key”
